Initial Consultation (Virtual)

Our Initial Consultation is essential for new patients looking to establish care. In this first virtual session we begin a thorough overview and in depth discussion of your health history and goals, lifestyle and dietary analysis. This is also when we formulate your unique treatment plan that may include in person acupuncture, targeted supplements, Chinese herbal prescription, and/or continued virtual coaching where applicable. Of course we allow for plenty of Q&A time too.

Initial Virtual Consults may include:

In depth medical history review, evaluation of any laboratory diagnostics (including blood work and ultrasounds), supplement evaluation and advice, a personalized plan for your next steps, detailed nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, customized herbal prescription, medical/doctor referral where needed, ongoing email and text support.

After the session you'll receive a detailed follow up email with recommendations we discussed along with any other relevant information that may help in the initial steps with this journey. 


Acupuncture Treatments

These specialized in-person acupuncture sessions are for established patients to provide focused and ongoing care and support every step of the way. Visits include hands on acupuncture tailored to each individual’s unique needs, checking in on your progress, discussing any questions or concerns, making any needed adjustments to our treatment plan, continued lifestyle and dietary coaching, emotional support and stress management. Sessions may include additional modalities such as moxibustion, cupping, electric stimulation, or heat lamp therapy where needed.

*If you are new to the practice, please schedule your Inital Consultation prior to these visits. 


Virtual Follow-Up Consultations

For established patients not accessible to or not seeking office visits, you can take advantage of this tele-health option for optimizing your health and well-being by receiving continued virtual support. These phone or video sessions provide ongoing care with coaching on diet & nutrition, lifestyle factors, stress management, emotional support, and customized recommendations on supplements, and/or Chinese herbal prescriptions where needed.


Preparing for your Appointment

Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing for treatment. Payments will be made through online billing to follow contactless guidelines. Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time. 

If you or someone you are in close contact with exhibit flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, I kindly ask that you contact me to reschedule for a later date. If you have tested positive for Covid-19, please wait 5 days to come in or once you’ve received a negative test. 

Payment, Cancellation Policy, and Insurance


Payment is due at the end of each session. You must have a credit card on file in order to make an appointment. All cards are accepted, including HSA and FSA.

Late Policy: 

I understand that there are times you will need to cancel or reschedule your appointment and I'm happy to accommodate your needs. It is my policy however that all cancellations/rescheduling be done at least 24 hours prior to the date of your appointment. If cancellation/rescheduling is not done within 24 hours of your appointment, or you do not show up to your appointment without any notice, you will be charged for the full cost of your session.

Non-Refundable Payment Policy: 

All services and products purchased are non-refundable. Refunds will not be provided for the full or partial price for any used products or services.

Refund Policy on Pre-Paid Packages: 

Refunds are acceptable for “discounted prepayment packages”. If you do not complete the “course of treatment” (example; 10 sessions) the discount no longer applies. When refunded, you will be charged at the full current rate for each treatment you have used and be refunded the remainder.


There are some insurance providers that cover for certain acupuncture services. Though I do not process any insurance at this time, I can provide you with an itemized insurance reimbursement receipt with all of the required coding for services rendered, which you can submit to your insurance company.
